Teadventures: Teany

Known by its brand name sold in grocery stores, this tiny yet cozy tea spot is located on the lower eastside. Teany claims 107 types of tea, so it says on their bathroom wall. Their tea menu compiles a list of teas from Asian, Green, Black and Fruity flavors, in a mini book.

I ordered a pumpkin cream tea. Contrary to its name, it didn't have a creamy look nor the rich creamy taste. It was light, flavorful like chai with a little spice. Perfect afternoon tea for a cold weather. I also ordered a vegan pumpkin cheesecake. Taste like cheesecake; pretty heavy dessert. But overall, this small tea joint deserves an A rating.
