I have been on a few domestic flights, and a couple of international ones. I remembered the different transit places I've been - some of them I got stuck in because of a blizzard. After a few ones, I've taken advantage of my transit stop to enjoy them. I took Cathay Pacfic for an 16 hour flight to Asia. The food was good, as a friend recommended. Omelette breakfast with potatoes, noodle soup, beef with rice & veggies for lunch; We get a snack bag filled with water, apple and a granola bar. Moreso, Cathay has built in a camera underneath the plane, so we could see the landing live.

As soon as I arrived in Hong Kong, I saw a sign that said that Hong Kong airport has the world's largest/best airport food. There are plenty of chinese establishments that offer meals - meat with rice or fried rice, noodles, or soup. In addition, there are popeyes. The conversion rate is HK$7.2 per $1. Like many airports, this airport seems to be the busiest among that I've traveled to.
