Chinatown-Divisoria
Way more crowded than NYC's Chinatown or rush hour, I visited & passed through Quiapo-Chinatown area before my final destination of Divisoria, one of Manila's famous wet market and items are extremely inexpensive. I took the pictures inside the car as pick-pocketing is prevalent. People walked around like an army of ants, while traffic is never ending. They had set up mall buildings to house the numerous stalls established in the area, in addition to the outdoor shops to clean up and make the place look decent.
I bought more clothes & souvenirs for 1/2 the price by bargaining the sellers. I'm not too good at heckling unless I'm determined. I bought 3 for 1000 pesos dresses (total $20) and Christmas sofa pillow covers 3 for $100 ($2). Too bad my mom isn't with me. She probably would bargain the stuff even lower.
