Bonjour! 3-days in Montreal

A quick weekender in Montreal showed me that the city is so diverse. Yet what amazes me is that how a person can be from anywhere around the world and be bilingual or trilingual - English, French and a possibly a third language. Given you have 3 universities in the area, the city has a lot of students and young people aside from tourists. In roaming the streets of Montreal, my friend and I stumbled on a Barbie expo.

Aside from a plethora of malls and restaurants, another site to see in Montreal is the light show (Galerie Images Boreales) at the Catherdral Basillica. For the first 20 minutes, there are stations throughout the church where there are light presentations. The last half hour is a all out music and light show presentation who's focal point is at the altar & resonates throughout the roof of the building. 

Don't forget to roam the streets of Old Montreal for some shops, restaurants and cobble streets.
